Ingredients

  • oats60g
  • apple1, grated
  • Greek yogurt100g
  • milk100ml
  • cinnamonpinch

Method

  1. Coarsely grate the whole apple, skin on, straight into a bowl or jar — discard the core.
  2. Add the oats, Greek yogurt, milk and cinnamon to the grated apple.
  3. Stir thoroughly until everything is evenly combined and no dry oats remain.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight — the oats need time to soften and absorb the liquid.
  5. Before eating, stir again and loosen with a splash more milk if it's thicker than you like. Keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Meal-prep note

Same idea as overnight oats — make a batch on Sunday, keeps well for 4-5 days.

Calories and protein are set per recipe; carbs and fat are estimated from the remaining calories and the recipe's main carb source, so treat them as a close guide rather than a lab measurement. Prices are rough per-serving estimates for UK supermarkets and vary by store and season. Nothing here is medical or dietary advice.
