Ingredients

  • wholemeal bread2 slices
  • peanut butter1.5 tbsp
  • banana0.5, sliced
  • whey protein0.5 scoop, stirred into the peanut butter

Method

  1. Toast the 2 slices of wholemeal bread to your preferred level.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the whey protein into the peanut butter, adding water half a teaspoon at a time (roughly 2-3 teaspoons total) until it loosens to a spreadable consistency. It will seize up at first — keep stirring.
  3. Spread the protein-peanut butter mix evenly over both slices of toast.
  4. Top with banana slices and eat immediately while the toast is warm.
Meal-prep note

Best assembled fresh so the toast stays crisp, though the peanut butter mix can be made in one batch.
