Ingredients
- wholemeal bread2 slices
- peanut butter1.5 tbsp
- banana0.5, sliced
- whey protein0.5 scoop, stirred into the peanut butter
Method
- Toast the 2 slices of wholemeal bread to your preferred level.
- In a small bowl, mix the whey protein into the peanut butter, adding water half a teaspoon at a time (roughly 2-3 teaspoons total) until it loosens to a spreadable consistency. It will seize up at first — keep stirring.
- Spread the protein-peanut butter mix evenly over both slices of toast.
- Top with banana slices and eat immediately while the toast is warm.
Meal-prep noteBest assembled fresh so the toast stays crisp, though the peanut butter mix can be made in one batch.
Calories and protein are set per recipe; carbs and fat are estimated from the
remaining calories and the recipe's main carb source, so treat them as a close guide rather than a
lab measurement. Prices are rough per-serving estimates for UK supermarkets and vary by store and
